I'm going to say this:
Focusing more on army is a completely reasonable reaction from EU. They're near the aggressive Russia and with Trump wanting Greenland(IIRC he swears he won't attack, but that's Trump we talk about), I completely understand trying to be prepared for what could come.

@SemenovSherin Как человек, который ёбнулся с электросамоката на каменистую дорогу этим летом - главное держать руки наготове. Держать наготове именно чтобы, если всё-таки летишь лицом вперёд, упасть на четвереньки. Тогда не так больно падать, в худшем случае немного крови на улице оставишь если об камни порежешься. Хотя ездить без защиты(как я) всё ещё не рекомендовал бы.

@enigmatico As a fellow non-natuve, I don't think that matters. People online at least seem to understand both, so don't waste your time overthinking it and use whatever feels natural.
@peteorrall @bazkie Well, if they're lucky, they were copying from stackoverflow, which is while better, not by a long shot. There's generally no way around copy-paste phase, and anyone in that phase will not understand why roadblocks are here, so it surely won't stop them, and anyone after that phase will not need those roadblocks.

Experienced user will be able to handle it probably and noob will copy-paste random commands from the LLM and give all the passwords and social security number to the prompts anyway, no amount of roadblocks will succeed at blocking stupidity.

Oh yeah, the way Trump talks about fighting 'left-wing terrorism' is way too close to the way extremism law was pushed to the point where it can be used against free speech here in Russia. They all have one rulebook they pass around.
@AAKL @9to5linux @mariusnestor Oh you can say that again, because of some of these shitheads in Russia, I have to use VPN to connect to my mastodon instance because their attempts to ban VPNs ban random websites at random times. And as you could notice, they don't even succeed at banning VPNs.
