I think these are two great videos for people to watch right now. I say this because I am often seeing too many people trying to argue or isolate vs trying to understand the best way to move forward and promote change is the middle ground, and also know when to stop...

I love Windows.

While doing some performance-related tweaking to my Windows 11 virtual machine, Windows decided to sneakily apply an update that completely breaks host-passthrough in virtual machines.

So I've just lost several hours of my life trying to figure out if something I changed broke things.

AMD : BSOD unsupported processor since Windows build 26100.4202+ ( update kb5060842 + its preview kb5058499 )

I see this on Proxmox with 2025 and 11. I have some instances at NetCup (Hoster using KVM), same issues but with the disadvantge that i cant play with host/cpu settings. All on AMD Epyc 96xx

Today I installed some VRC Light Volume compatible materials! Instead of the entire mesh being locked to one light level, the light volumes are able to independently light various parts of the avatar which makes it look realtime without being realtime! I love how nice it looks!

On bsky, of my 83 followers, 42 are spam. I can't stop them following, just block, but I still have 83 followers, despite having blocked 42.

Often I'm excited & intrigued to be greeted by ~12 notifications, but they're all about new followers, with each & every one spam. I spend more time laboriously blocking accounts than exploring.

It's not really what you want from a social media experience. I've found Mastodon has provided a superior experience thus far. 👍
