In October 2020 the East Troublesome fire burned through the Arapaho National Forest and eventually into Rocky Mountain National Park. Nearly 3 years later, I hiked through the burn scar to see the wildflower takeover.
Bull moose on the hike up to Baker Pass, Never Summer Wilderness. Saw 4 all day.

ran down to the flattop mountain summit (12,324') before it got too scary but from there to treeline was a mix of rain, graupel, and hail, with thunder crackling all around us.

made hallett (12,720') just before noon but had to turn back and scrap the rest of the route before things got too electric
