Hit my current #WIP 's middle, so here comes the idea flood for other projects!
One could be a novel, so I'm jotting notes. Plus I've got a horror short rattling around-gonna see where it leads. May even try submitting it a few places when I finish.
PHEW. 5,822 words this week—officially wrapped Act I of Space Heist #WIP ! The crew’s together, stuff’s getting tricky & stakes are 📈
Next: an editing break. W/ a full sense of character, voice & place, a clean draft’ll be a great launching pad to the job’s chaos.
Question for the #WritingCommunity - my laptop time’s been significantly curtailed lately, so I’ve had to grow my #WIP via typing on my phone and dictation. The latter especially gets me progress, but the parsing & formatting is a disaster. Dreading my 1st editing pass.
Anyone else do this? I’d love some tips!

Well dang, somewhere along the way I passed 22K in my current #WIP! Aiming for 90K total, so it's time to wrap Act I.
Will likely overshoot (especially since my 1st editing pass tends to be additive), but that's typical for me.
Walking outside, sun on my face and 60° wind blowing, and can’t help but think this February might be warm enough for even Sam McGee.
