@steadilyebbing I only, fairly recently, realised that the "waspy thing" that turn up on "buggy" nights are actually horny bull ants in flying suits. ARGH, GETOFFA ME!

I have only been bitten by once, purely mechanical, when one got in my welly. I do not want a repeat performance, ever.

@skyfire747 Good *checks clock* evening!

You sound like someone who has to deal with time zones. Something I am currently recovering from...

If SQL is pronounced "sequel" then surely DNS is pronounced "Dennis"?

What @Tarale doesn't mention, is the amount of work that went into that. I have looked at the original, with focus merge, blown right up. The detail is - wow.

@Edent I was unable to find it quickly, by putting it in search. Which I did because it wasn't clickable. Web app.
@Dangerous_beans Looks good, on display. Not stuck in the middle of a random mish-mash.
@Dangerous_beans Thought I recognised one of them :-)

@engtao Probabilistic model shit at doing deterministic.

Had one supposedly doing CAD from first principles. I had to explain Pythagoras, as it was trying to do crazy things with something that needed a solution - using Pythagoras.

An then it got in another regression loop, putting all the old bugs back in, so that's when I sat down, and did it all on paper.

@spiegelmama Well, that was pretty much me, at that age. So glad to hear that it is intergenerational.

Reconnecting with friends with whom I have not communicated, since I left the UK. Under tragic circumstances, following the death of the person who used to be my best mate.

These used to be really good friends. Their baby, as was, back then, is now in his late 20s.

But... It seems like we can pick up, from where we left off. After so long, when friends were pretty much forbidden to me - this feels a good way to move into Live 2.0
