We are actually living in such a dystopia, where you have to watch every word you say or write very carefully, because someone always is offended.

Btw calling me a fool offends me. No go and die a slow and painful death you bloody motherfucking asshole!

Most comments are condolences, but here is an interesting one. Maybe just hit one of the suggested replies without reading the post?

LinkedIn Delivering the Brave New World Experience [Trigger Warning: death but no gore/pictures of a dead body/etc.] - Lemmy.World

- Cross-Posted from [email protected] [/c/[email protected]] https://lemmy.world/post/14746871 [https://lemmy.world/post/14746871] - Still up on LinkedIn, at the time of posting this it is already for 1 week (no link, since login required and full name of the deceased person’s profile in original post)

#LFG ? Looking for group? How does that fit here? I don’t get it…
Well, the document itself might have been secret… but that’s like labelling yesterday’s weather forecast secret… ;-D
I’m interested where that picture is from. Why is it in this bad quality and written this way? Should I know that, like, a part of a screenshot of popular movie/meme/etc.? Thx in advance!

I just think it would be good to point users to some kind of crawler that knows all the communities. Searching communities under “all” from within lemmy is almost misleading.

Absolutely second that! However, if not incorporated in the lemmy landing page as tip with different links, I don’t see that info spreading much…

Since lemmy.world is disabled - but on the site - I guess it was a deliberate decision by the instance admins, right? So starting an initiative here would be not that successful I guess.

That’s a pity, because more big instances taking part is key and the fact that they actively decided against instead of just not being aware does not give a positive outlook…

However, I agree that this does not mean the whole thing is pointless but on the contrary is very useful for the communities on the instances taking part.

That pattern sounds familiar, indeed. Thanks.

That’s a good point, thanks.

Astonishing how complicated and fragile the political state of the world is right now.
