Surprise of the week.
Bavaria goes open source?
Let's hope so.

HumbleBee is out: a local-first open source time tracker with CLI + GUI.

It started after a canceled flight in San Francisco and a night at the airport, when I began using AI to learn Go faster.

HumbleBee: free local-first time tracking for developers and solo users

HumbleBee is free, local-first time tracking for developers, freelancers, consultants, and solo users who want privacy, ownership, and no subscription.

I hate Slack.
It’s a mess.
Mails are much better.
I know how old this makes me sound.
@jor Like most of us, I believe.

I will never understand why people prefer Claude Code over Codex.

Codex never “made up version numbers.”
And it never told me to reverse-engineer anything, instead of using the ready-to-use Docker containers.

@bearzk We should meet out at least have a call anyway my friend. It’s overdue!
@jzb What about coming over and we discuss some of them? Or yours? You are welcome.
I started buying physical books again last year.
Nobody can take them away from me.
Unless they send the firemen from Fahrenheit 451.
@rotnroll666 Never liked Kreator that much—more into Slayer. Fun fact: 2 years ago I hosted their fan chat (I also worked for Destruction)

Jack London’s The Sea-Wolf asked:
What is a human being worth when power has no conscience?
I ask again.
What remains human when value becomes a calculation?
