@Ebly @Sbectol @suearcher Ah, so the money probably came from the compensation the hospital paid for mistakes made during their son's delivery.
@Sbectol @suearcher I'm confused by the trust thing too! If her ex-husband had just bought her out of the house they shared, that is straightforward. But the *trust* they presumably set up together is what bought her out. Who contributed that money to the trust in the first place?

I dreamt last night there was some kind of global software upgrade that meant if someone had your phone number in their Contacts, they'd be able to link your name to everything you'd ever posted online.
In the dream I was reading an online advice column (Dear Prudence or something) and the letter-writer's name showed up in green as someone I'd met.
Feels like a scarily logical progression - remember when Google took over Blogger and suddenly your anonymous blog was linked to your real name?

Have still heard absolutely nothing re: my application to train as a Welsh tutor. For the record, I don't think they've rejected it. I think they're too fucking disorganised to even acknowledge it. This right here is why there's a shortage of tutors.
It's now a week since I applied to train as a Welsh tutor and I've heard absolutely nothing. I've got a feeling this is going to go nowhere.
