@oya yeah I don't think I've seen them put out any new music so w/e, I just won't buy any more. but it kinda makes the music I have suck and that's a goddamn shame, maybe I'll just delete it I dunno

@zazzyv w.e. had a downtime overnight AFAICT but it appears to be catching up again! I was a little worried too, but it was like this before when they did a database upgrade and such.

@nearpoetics I imagine that would be difficult! But also very interesting and inspiring as you say!

Home is indeed sweet and complex. So I moved out of my hometown for school in 2005 and have only been back to visit since. Lived three other places since, so I've had to rebuild (my idea of) home in each place. But homecoming to my hometown is unique and special. Now I am building home here and it's nice but different. I think it's great to be able to build an idea of home, and hold onto it, wherever you are.

I've spent a lot of time studying homecoming and home in the ancient world, so it's very near and dear to me. Home is complex, home is manifold, home is a person, home is a place, home is a feeling, home is wondrous, it is bittersweet, it is lifegiving. I have a lot of thoughts on it and sorry to ramble!
