i also checked out a copy of haruki murakami's colorless tsukuru tazaki and his years of pilgrimage. i don't know much about it but the cover really struck me and i liked the wind-up bird chronicle even if i thought the sex in it was a little much
i found a copy of margaret atwood's the handmaid's tale for a dollar. i've been meaning to read it for a while now. it's a used copy and full of marks from someone who definitely had to analyze it for a school class, which i think is cute
hi mastodon. i got some more books today. would you like to hear about them
mastodon: exactly like twitter but i talk more about books and shit because i feel like i've made everyone on my main twitter very bored of hearing about the things i like
i've got a big ol' stack of books i've been slowly working my way through. i gotta read more, honestly
https://mastodon.social/media/14425i hope everyone's having a good thanksgiving!!! bring me your leftovers. i'll take care of them for you. don't worry about it
i'm simultaneously very pleased by and sort of disappointed by the transitional period between finishing one book and deciding what book to start next
the thing i'm most thankful for of all is that my family never does a big group meal. they just put a bunch of food out and say ok everyone's too busy just come get some when you can
i keep thinking "i wonder if my feed is broken?" and refreshing but it's actually just that it's kinda quiet here and that's nice
universal harvester comes out, like, maybe the day we're moving? i hope i can find a copy in town before we go. i really, really, really want to read that. wolf in white van stuck with me like no book has in a long time. i guess this account is going to be a lot of me talking about the things i like that i expect people on twitter to not care about!!!! maybe that's fine!!!
