i also checked out a copy of haruki murakami's colorless tsukuru tazaki and his years of pilgrimage. i don't know much about it but the cover really struck me and i liked the wind-up bird chronicle even if i thought the sex in it was a little much
@gravillian That book is mmmm unfortunate I can not appreciate Murakami's "pure girl is corrupted and suffers for no reason" constant plot element any longer at this point in time
@Washy i did enjoy his memoir about running though. maybe because it was very, very straightforward
@gravillian I really like his short fiction and then just his non-fiction. Hardboiled was my favorite of his novels!! By the time I had to read 1Q84 I was like "god dude you can't just write the same book 60 times again and soak up nonstop praise"
