@rtyler future documentation (in the absence of an enhancement to the installer) might be similar to what's quoted at <https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=255318#c12>:

> … ESP partitions should be mounted as MS-DOS filesystems as /boot/efi, and /boot/loader.efi should be copied to /boot/efi/efi/boot/bootx64.efi if the default setup is used. …

255318 – handbook: Document how to update the bootloader

@rtyler thanks. So, no corruption.

FreeBSD bug 262770 – bsdinstall:the efi partition not be format except the first disk.

@phessler oh.

What about non-abusive search engines, to find Mastodon content – Mastodon content that Mastodon cannot find?

@phessler oh.

Is there anything like a trashlog, to complement an official changelog?

Any idea when a less trashy upgrade might become acceptable?

Are Mastodon instances such as this collectively, or individually, indexed by any search engine?

Is Google search my best bet? (I do use Google.)

I guess that https://mastodon.social/ is indexed by Google, because I found something with Startpage.

bsd.network toots apparently not indexed by Google; https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Mastodon%22+site%3Absd.network

@probono @mfjurbala the absence of chronological order is amongst the deal-breakers, for me.

I'll occasionally use Mastodon, but it's not _engaging_.

@probono this is not the early, decentralised web.
Why did an eye appear at the tail of my previous post?
@bsdcan at <https://www.bsdcan.org/2022/> a sidebar click on 'Schedule' leads to a redirect, then an internal server error. 🐞
