I followed the instruction, pasted the URL into the search field (at https://bsd.network/web/getting-started)

Nothing is found.

What am I missing?

BSD Network

bsd.network is a *BSD-adjacent Mastodon Instance. We have a code of conduct.

Mastodon hosted on bsd.network

I tried seeking in this format:

@mfjurbala

Result: error 503.

@grahamperrin the fediverse is still bumpy, try again in about 5 minutes
@phessler thanks, should it work with the format that was shown in the first screenshot?

@grahamperrin

From what I understand you need to include the instance, like in the second screenshot, unless you're on the same instance (both of us on bsd.network). Not sure if that's different from what's in your first screenshot.

But the other day @probono noticed a possible bug where links weren't actually going to the link as it was posted. Not sure if any of that is somehow related.

There are definitely rough areas. I have some issues with notifications.

@mfjurbala @grahamperrin Personally I'm more than happy to live with the rough edges. The early, decentral WWW used to be full of them!

@probono @mfjurbala the absence of chronological order is amongst the deal-breakers, for me.

I'll occasionally use Mastodon, but it's not _engaging_.

@grahamperrin I agree, the branching replies on Twitter also bothered me. These sites are ok to kill some time but there are more useful things we could do.
