Other interests: outdoor life (camping, snowmobiling, hiking), volunteering, helping others when needed/wanted, messing around in the shop with wood, tools, machines 'n' such. More to be added as I think of things!

It's definitely different. I've been dabbling for a few weeks now, and the experience is getting better

One thing I notice is often when I check in on Twitter I leave feeling anxious, angry, upset and a myriad of other negative emotions. I don't get that with the Mastoworld. It makes me realize how toxic the birdsite has become (maybe was all along, just had nothing to compare with)

I have not severed my ties to the old world yet and may never but certainly reducing my consumption!

Yes indeed, and the ‘up and comers’ are adding to that. Don’t get me wrong, this is a good thing but we’ve looked so long at Norrisey, Ehlers, Perfetti (and with good reasons!) but seeing Lowry, Dubois, Wheeler and the ‘newbies’ coming into the mix, the picture is shifting for the better!

Yes I think you are bang on. Not really wanting to say #Bettman out loud but there are definitely ‘business interests’ that have taken precedence over what fans really appreciate. I miss the games against eastern teams.

Being entirely selfish (with empathic overtones?) I am hoping it’s a “break in the action” but at the same can only wish for all the best for Melissa. We will all survive...

MM, all the best and I’m very glad to see a Masto-presence! I’m not confident a dependence on the birdsite would work out so well!

Watching the Pittsburgh feed and listening to their announcers tonight. Funny crew. Going on and on about how big these Jets are! "Nothing but size".
A perspective I wouldn't have brought forward and not something the TSN crew goes on about, but they're not totally wrong.

I don’t like ‘‘em either but I think they got both calls right. Definitely offside on the first one. The second could have gone either way but when the call was no goal due to interference that’s a tough one to overturn. I don’t like the challenge on the second one...
