@CooksBooksandFoodieLooks I think thats one (of many) points of the film. I didn’t get the feeling Nolan was condoning anything, it was left for the audience to wrestle with along with Oppenheimer.
#Oppenheimer 8/10 - might be Nolan’s best yet. Thrilling, thorny, tense and the tour of theoretical physicist cameos I never knew I needed. Might be ten minutes too long.
#Barbie 7/10 - at times very funny with some poignant moments. Wonderful performances & Gerwig knocked it out of the park with her direction. For all the good, can’t shake the stink of being a giant Mattel commercial, no matter how much they leaned into it.
My Grandmother (who passed away many years ago) was obsessed with #TonyBennett. Most of my memories of her have his voice in the background. I’m going to miss both of them very much. Thanks Tony.
