Question: How to encourage the #TwitterMigration (for those who think that would be a good thing).

I’m seeing a lot of useful starter-guides, but I suspect that Step One—choosing an instance—is more daunting than it needs to be. I don’t even know now whether I chose the “right” or “best” instance for me. How can that be made easier?

Second, is there a general feeling about cross-posting—one way or both ways—as a temporary measure, to provide comfort during the transition?
