@dapperbear Some sort of health amulet or even a single use potion kept just in case. Man, once you turn 30 you start to feel the unavoidable pull of entropy on your body.
@FASA_Andrew_1879 My Mom, who's an engineer, had the same problem when she lost her job a few years back (being the oldest at the company she was the first to go). She has a ton of experience and is still effective at her job but the only way she was able to find a new one was lowering her wage expectations. At the same time, younger people have a trouble with finding employement too. And all that when there's enough resources to give everyone a decent living if it was distributed differently.
@Provinto I switched to ecigs like... 5 years ago. After the first 2 months or so I stopped craving for an actual cigarette and now use liquids with less and less nicotine. I can't imagine just.. going cold turkey like you did. Drinking (beer especially) and smoking is a thing tho but at some point it becomes less an addiction and more nostalgia and how human memory works.
@kensanata Thank you for mentioning this podcast, now I need to check it out as listening to philosophy podcasts and video essays is the only actual application of my diploma I've found so far lol
I've already said I don't want to see any homophobic or misogynistic content in the pre game discussion and we'll see how it goes. Worse case scenario I'll finally run that goddamn Dungeon World. For some nice people. Who I'll undoubtedly find.
@rettaroo I strongly suspect Yahoo gives exactly zero fucks either way. Tumblr app crashed on me 2 times today however so maybe it's self destructing even without nipplecalypse.
