Internet connectivity down in Iran as airstrikes hit the country.

Traffic volume dropped at 07:06 UTC and then again at 11:47 UTC with minimal connectivity remaining.

The country had a partial restoration since Jan-27 following a complete shutdown in Jan-8.

Whoops, I missed my chance to make the “640% should be enough for everybody” joke. But it’s obviously not enough because the PicoIDE campaign keeps going. 6 days left! I’m blown away by how far it’s come. BTW the last update I posted brought even more people with weird systems out of the woodwork!

Big news on my SCUMM documentary project this week: Ron Gilbert (@grumpygamer) is among our first batch of confirmed interviews, along with designers @DavidBFox and Tami Borowick, programmer Aric Wilmunder, and artist-extraordinaire Mark Ferrari.

There's a great write-up at Adventure Game Hotspot with all the details: https://adventuregamehotspot.com/announcement/5936/sign-up-available-for-passport-to-adventure-the-scumm-story

I'm buying a kitchen and they sent a sample of the marble counter top with a metal ball showing what the sink will be like. Now my desk looks like a 90s 3D rendering tool demo image.

So I see #Nolto doing the rounds as a supposed #OS #LinkedIn alternative

Judging from the Codeberg issues [1] and the self-professed ignorance of the prompter about fundamentals of federation and software dev [2], it seems highly likely that Nolto is vibe-coded

Superficially feature-rich but lots of loose ends and basic errors, this is a privacy and security disaster waiting to happen — I would not touch this with a barge-pole 😬

This guy named Ben Palmer made an "Immigration tip line" and people call it thinking he's ICE.

He records them and shares it with the world.

What do people sound like when reporting their neighbors, coworkers, students? Are they confident they are doing a righteous good thing?

Witness the banality of evil in these sheepish suburban voices.
