So I eventually got round to uploading a picture. 24 hours later, they tell me appeal is denied and that's that.
Set up a Facebook account with a new Protonmail email in order to look at some photos of an event I did. Flicked through about 200 pics and then the screen popped up an "Account Suspended" message, something about inauthentic activity. I can appeal, step 1 is upload a headshot? Wow...
