Nouveau NAK Lands A Big Improvement For NVIDIA Kepler GPUs: As Much As 2.5x Faster

Merged today to the open-source NVIDIA 'NAK' compiler code within Mesa 25.2 is Kepler instruction scheduling

reminder that no juniors being hired eventually means no seniors available either

so automate away the junior jobs at your own peril (and no, university today doesn't remotely fill that gap either)

I guess if “They’ll come for you next” motivates people, then go for it. But damn, I really wish people could start from the assumption that the people they’re coming for *now* are also worth fighting for without any further explanation.
@kookie64 I have to be really careful with it because it can be toxic as hell. But it is sometimes good for laugh if you're in a headspace where you can not take it too seriously.

@ilmari Yeah, we're not really using backports in CI. Honestly, I don't know why. It would be a lot easier.

@phoronix exa already works with dri3 or this just kills 2d acceleration where it was really useful (old low-end hardware)?
