Noah Lyles latest: USOPC chief '100% comfortable' with decision to race with COVID-19
The head of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee says she is “100% comfortable” with Noah Lyles' decision to run in the 200 meters after testing positive for COVID-19 two days before the event. Lyles didn’t publicly reveal he’d tested positive for the virus until after he won bronze Thursday night at the Paris Olympics. Sarah Hirshland is the CEO of USOPC. She told The Associated Press that protocols were put in place for Lyles after he tested positive and he was closely monitored by USA Track. She said whether or not Lyles raced was left for him to decide.

@virtualbri I don’t know the character, but is he typicallly masked? Could it be like the Mandalorian where Pedro Pascal is the nominal actor and voices the character but since he’s disguised someone else is often acting on the screen?
@aburtch yea. on @triangleblogblog we try hard to celebrate all the wins, because small incremental change is the way most things get done!
@aburtch and I mean his support of labor unions, my god! Full support, most of any president in history.
@aburtch the thing that gets me about this thread, and other similar threads, is that Biden lobbied for and signed into law an incredibly aggressive package to combat climate change by incentivizing clean energy, development and it has worked incredibly well and spurred incredible green energy investments, and… these types of threads NEVER EVEN MENTION IT.
Boy I tell you, some political analysis on this site is just wacko.
