MetabolistUnfortunately I have to stop actively working on #Metatext for a while due to health issues. I really wish I could implement Mastodon 4 features and squash every bug, but it's not possible for me to do so right now.
I know the app has become important to a lot people, so I'm open to a new maintainer who can carry on its values of privacy and accessibility taking it over if there's interest and a fit. Email [email protected] if you (or your organization) are interested

I’m dumb, the Instant App doesn’t even need to be embedded for the ad blocker to break it.
That’s scary from a usability perspective when creating apps for the general public.
So apparently if you use an ad blocker ArcGIS Online Instant App embeds cease to work.

It comes down to an analytics file being blocked by the client. I feel like the client should be able to block analytics without breaking the app.
I filed a report with Esri, we’ll see what they think.
Instant App Embed Example
Below should be an iframe with an embedded instant app. When using an ad blocker such as uBlock Origin, the app fails to load because /apps/instant/node_modules/templates-common-library/structuralFunctionality/telemetry/AppMeasurement.js is blocked. Ideally, the embedded app should still load, even if the analytics is blocked by the client. Specifically EasyList is the list that blocks AppMeasurement.js. iFrames are not…

I just tested the official app on iPhone and it works, so I don't think it's the server.
@chrismarx Is Metatext available on android? That’s what I use on iPhone. It’s free and open source. Plus has more features than the official.
