Apparently, "transrace" is a thing. After the mental kick back of wrapping my head around the ultimate appropriation of someone else's race, I realised my identity as a "21-year-old billionaire dictator of a small, mineral-rich country" is looking more realistic every day.

This is great news for libraries in the USA! Libraries need generous funding, and we do not need tax cuts for the rich.
Trump administration withdraws appeal, securing historic victory for libraries and IMLS
On April 6, 2026, a federal court granted the Trump Administration’s request to withdraw its appeal of a federal judge’s earlier ruling that struck down the Administration’s dismantling of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Again, not the greatest movie around. I should not have rewatched this one, either.
Raw Deal (1986)
Mark Kaminsky is kicked out of the FBI for his rough treatment of a suspect. He winds up as the sheriff of a small town in North Carolina. FBI Chief Harry Shannon, whose son has been killed by a mobster named Patrovina, enlists Kaminsky in a personal vendetta with a promise of reinstatement into the FBI if Patrovina is taken down. To accomplish this, he must go undercover and join Patrovina's gang.
Watching Highlander, and realised it is not as good as I recall. Another time when I should have left the nostalgia alone. What movies have you gone back to and regretted?
