Been online since ARPAnet and NSFnet days. Passionate about IT security and privacy for decades.  user since they started. Wear my nerd badges with honour. I have a very patient wife.
@larand When she and I were hanging out recently, she actually had lovely things to say about you. ;-)

Here is a fun (dark) thought: You know how there are now three interstellar objects that have entered our solar system from Far Away of late, with a lot of attention and speculation about their origin and composition?

What if they are all a part of the same, massive, object (or nearby objects) that blew apart and are all sending their remnants our way - and We Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet?

Given the state of our planet at the moment, maybe it’s not such a dark thought after all.

@lapcatsoftware I love my Vision Pro, but the dearth of new content and apps is frustrating. Thankfully, I got it for what I knew it could already do, and how I’d use it, rather than pinning my hopes on Unicorn and Rainbow promises on potential.
It’s the Director’s Cut of Napoleon Dynamite that I’m more interested in.
I am probably not the first to notice this, but, in visionOS, floating windows have two controls beneath them. A dot and a dash. A dit and a dah. Which, as we all know, is Morse Code for the letter A. A is for Apple.
@mattro I couldn’t get a demo. So, I bought. I had faith it would be amazing. Words can not describe it accurately enough. Loving it.

So. Apple Vision Pro. Wow.

Having a tough time leaving Bora Bora. Can almost smell the SPF50.

@haveibeenpwned @haveibeenpwned Just so you know, this breach covers data from Bergdorf Goodman as well, and data from at least as far back as 2015.
@gordonkerry It’s pretty much daily and has been for a decade or so. Almost any day with good weather has a high chance of them being out.
Nine. Good turn out.
