@acf we use https://letsjelly.com/ for the in-house ask-a-developer helpdesk. It works.

If Apple still had courage they would've opened the keynote with this. @atpfm

This is a core system app interrupting you, promoting a sale by a movie-ticketing company, to push you to go see the platform vendor’s new movie.

Why not just pop up random ads all the time, always creating new channels that everyone’s opted-into by default so you can never keep up with opting out of them all?

Oh wait, that’s already what happens.

Apple’s as bad as everyone else. They don’t respect their customers — we’re fodder.

They truly have no standards anymore.

Going from 1 to >1 threads is a harder sell than you would probably guess at medium-large Rails shops, because the math is such that:

"Would you like to deal with security and correctness bugs introduced by multithreading in exchange for about a $300 lower AWS bill every month"?

In the UK? Like working with Rails? Want to be on a team of nice, professional people?

@davetron5000 in my (limited) understanding a lot of the remapping pain comes from everything being halfway between X and Wayland. For just remapping the physical keyboard - as you would with Karabiner on macOS - I’ve found KMonad to be utterly solid.
@dimsumthinking 🙏 will email you when I’m in work mode.
