A #shopify #SEO question. A client is using collection product URLs. The breadcrumbs are set correctly there, for example, on https://clientssite.myshopify.com/collections/down-pillows/products/garretts-down-pillow Breadcrumb is: Home > Down Pillows > Product…
However, on the canonical/product URL https://clientssite.myshopify.com/products/garretts-down-pillow, Breadcrumb is: Home > Product. The proper breadcrumb needs to be set on the canonical URL, right? Or should we get rid of collection product URLs & use the direct product URLs?

My biggest challenge with Mastodon is finding people to follow, and connect with, especially across instances. I likely need to learn better, new ways to do it. Edit: Okay, turns out the Mastodon client I use doesn’t have much functionality around search & discovery yet.

Flew to Kansas City & will drive to Central Kansas tomorrow to visit our mom. She’s 66 & in the late stages of dementia with Lewy bodies. It’s been a struggle since 2020 & I’ve visited every 1-2 months since then. Don’t take your parents, family, or friends for granted.

I'm attempting to migrate from https://mastodon.social/@garrettn to https://seocommunity.social/@garrettn, but am having trouble getting posts, followers, and following to migrate over. More to come.

I've redirected the old to the new account and am attempting to export, but it appears I can only export followers, following, not posts. Also, when I try to import to the new account, I get a message saying the data is malformed.

If you've done this before and found any tricks to make it work, let me know.
