As soon as I got back from yesterday’s protest some side effects from eye surgery kicked in. A “gut clearing” 9 of 10 on pain scale (& I have a high pain tolerance). On-call doc prescribed pressure relief drops from a late night pharma. They worked. Pressure still at 2x normal but way better. Yikes!

Friday the 13th is lucky, & my Father’s Day gift is sight in my “good” right eye. Lots of new debris and floaters in that eye but I can now see & read, so the surgery was a success. I am incredibly grateful. Now back to work!
