Smalltalk syntax fun facts!
1) in smalltalk every comment has to be delimited by a pair of double quotes as so:
"this is a comment" <- good
"this is a comment <- bad
// this is not a comment <- super bad

2) as you may suspect, string literals are written using single quotes
'c' <- this is a string
'a string' <- this is also a string
"not a string" <- this is a comment

3) there is no multiline comment support in smalltalk

4) I hate smalltalk

I'm having a hard time managing mental fog these days. I've been on a two day streak of being more asleep than awake because of it... or maybe it's the other way around. Anyways I'm really sleepy all the time and need to run to bed in order to not feel awful, with the added anxiety of putting off responsibilities and feeling isolated. On top of that migraines came back swinging so that sucks. I'm hoping it goes away next week 🤞
