@aharoni In fairness to the person (not me) who voted Hamas, if you chose randomly, Hamas would be the most likely (5/9).

Also, that person (not me) probably didn't overthink it and just voted randomly. I'm sure that person (not me!) was like, "Oh, that makes sense. That was obvious" after they saw the results of other's votes.

@0x10f @wikipedia I was checking when was the last time the main page was deleted, and I now know that "you can undelete a page, you can't unjump off a building":

@wikipedia Happy birthday!

@bignose The exemption removes the block from all IPs, not just that of your current VPN, as long as you're on the account with the exemption.

Here's the reason many VPNs are blocked from editing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Open_proxies

"Open proxies allow malicious users to change IP addresses rapidly, causing continuous disruption that cannot easily be stopped by administrators."

@h @pyrex I've read on some social media site that forced password changes are a bad idea because they make people use worse passwords and save them insecurely, and because they are a pain.

Also, if these become more normal, phishing emails using these kinds of messages to make you give them your password may appear less fishy.

Keep in mind I don't known a lot about what I'm currently talking about.

@bignose Sorry that happened. If you're interested, here's a guide on how to request an exemption: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:IP_block_exemption#Used_for_anonymous_proxy_editing

@autistic_enby Watching him in the interview was super fun; he's super fun, and there's no way he's a neurotypical.

He seems like a genius and a fun person to be around. Thanks for sharing the video.
