Kind of tempted to move my art to a small, intimate virtual gallery where you have to stand in a simulated line if you want to view it and longer if you want to get up close to it.
The great thing about C is that you can compile your program for pretty much any platform, from Apple Silicon to the PDP-11, and it will run. (with dissimilar behavior and no platform-independent way to respond to error conditions)

(To be clear, I softly use "people who don't know what they're doing avoid this tool" as a determiner of what technical decisions I make on personal projects.)
I guess, admittedly, I don't even know what can be done about it. Rust is a fantastic technology, its corporate sponsors are "no one I would endorse" and its userbase is increasingly people who don't care about whether their code is correct.
