Hey @caseyliss about your IMDb replacement app’s monetization.

Take a look at Apollo for Reddit. Solo dev, Ultra version with subscription to get Notifications and other extras, also Pro version with lots of extra features.

In your case, Notification updates as the movie released, or get notified when director/actor you follow has a new release - can be a pretty decent justification for subscription.

And donate or Pro version to unlock like “No ads” mode, extra themes, etc, if you fancy that.
