@sm @tailscale I was getting unexpected traffic so spend limit automatically paused the project. It’s back up now!
@foxikira Must've missed that. It's hard to come by any cloud connected product that's adequately protected. I'm happy with Apple's Homekit Secure Video enabled ones, at least my footage stays at my home

I'm disillusioned by ORMs and query builders, but I don't want to solve my abstraction problems by string manipulation, so I'm looking for a middle ground.

Do you know any tools for creating an ASG for a SQL query? It only has to be syntactically correct, and has to expose useful methods, no semantic guarantees needed.

I believe this would be a sweet spot for creating powerful SQL queries that support the whole spectrum with minimal safety guarantees.

@foxikira I actually took it apart by following a reddit thread and a youtube video, no connectors were loose and I'm under the impression that the problem is software related.

I may try to take another look, but reverse engineering without proper cables or debugging environment is notoriously hard, and out of my expertise :/

I'm gravitating towards Anker cams, they have nice reviews and I had good experience with their other products

@umurgdk Gotta pay the bills tho

@umurgdk Totally unrelated but reminds me how there's an Ethereum project named Remix which I accidentally visit every once in a while

Wish you my condolences with your current project

My Logi Circle 2 is bricked without me doing anything, it's been unplugged for some time and when I plugged it back it was dead.

I reached out to Logi for support and they told me they couldn't help in any way.

Should I shop for a new indoor cam or try to find a way to revive it?

@zkat as a video essay junkie I’ve been considering subscribing to Nebula for possibly over a year now but still haven’t made the switch. Youtube is far too sticky and not yet problematic I guess
@peter that’s a pretty significant time range, compared to the daily order of things, but I guess I was unconsciously prepared for it. There’s a time for ambition and recuperation.
