I am a person who spends way too much time on and around computing in general. In recent years I alternate between coding and adding things to openstreetmap.

I'm generally quite socially anxious so don’t tend to write much.

@Neybulot As a child/teen it would honestly disrupt my sleep for multiple months. Eventually I found that deliberately offsetting my sleep for half hour for half a week before helps me quite a bit with the transition.
@KatyElphinstone Yeah I would say I at least lack imagination in the ways that are expected. I definitely can’t do it on demand, which wasn’t very helpful for the creative subjects at school. Particularly I’ve never been very good where I needed to come up with a story or an idea for a project.

@gremlinchild - sometimes adding fun things I could do if I feel like it. Means not everything is a must.

Of course you can pick and choose and adapt to your needs. Hopefully it might give you some ideas.

@gremlinchild basically:
- more symbols. I have symbols for making progress towards a goal, having tried, having forgotten etc. these remove lots of crosses on days I don’t complete many tasks and give you reasons why.
- no symbol for failure. I only ever use a cross to mean that the task was explicitly cancelled (either by me or someone else)
- easy wins. I have tasks that I know I’m likely to complete for morale

@gremlinchild I used to find not being able to check off everything I wanted to do very frustrating and demoralising. I ended up cobbling together a system that works for me.
@EshuMarneedi @chockenberry On the support page it says that if you block the Applebot-Extended user agent it will opt out of the AI scraper, but still allow everything else.

The UK government now owns a stake in a sex party start-up.

That orgiastic company's name? Killing Kittens.

Not a joke. This just proves our portion of the multiverse is the most comedic one. https://www.cnn.com/2022/06/28/business/killing-kittens-uk-loan-stake-intl-hnk/index.html
