Are there any plans to implement a native video player for YouTube videos? - Lemmy.world

I was just wondering if there’s any plans down the road to enables watching yt videos directly in the lemmy app (I know Apollo had this feature). I think that would be a huge quality of life improvement for video-centric communities, especially if avoids all the ads on mobile youtube. Either way, thank you devs for your amazing work so far! I love Memmy. Feels almost obligatory to add this :)

AppStore Memmy app stopped working - LemmyWorld

Since this morning (europe time) the Memmy app is unable to load any posts. I can see my own comments in the profile-tab, but nothing else. I’ve tried logging out and in again and also switching to an alternate account, but the app only works when I use the Testflight version. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? What can I do/try to fix this?
