"We are ready to protect Hasakah and reject the sectarian strife between Arabs and Kurds. They want to destroy the brotherhood of nations. We will resist and there's no difference between Arab and Kurd. We will reclaim all our territories and our homeland."'

Note: the concept of a "nation" is not actually synonymous with or even related to the concept of Statehood but is here used in its original and actual meaning of a people with shared history, culture, traditions, etc, which has nothing to do with States claiming ownership over people through their exclusionary, divisive and thereby conflict creating citizenship decrees, and which have recent centuries actively conflated the unrelated concepts through use of harmful terms like "nation-state" whereby they caused the worst calamities of all humankind's history. Before that, people would often have a multitude of nationalities just by birth, migration, and social interactions, without any thought of Kings, Queens, and similar enemies of humanity.
