Duh. Maybe think about it before installing exclusively #Windows on all of your desktops AND paying for an #Office license + a @github #student pack for your staff/students AND banning every #email client but #Outlook from accessing your server?

'We need to preserve digital sovereignty of universities'

Universities are increasingly dependent on commercial providers of digital services and technologies. This dependence means that the influence of external parties on the digital design of universities is increasing. This in turn can erode academic freedoms of universities and researchers in a variety of ways. This is why the UvA is calling for the preservation of 'digital sovereignty' of public universities. The UvA's Institute for Information Law (IVIR) makes recommendations to preserve that sovereignty.

This is part of the problem, right? #Univerisity websites covering these #rankings instead of explicitly condemning them, I mean. They know this is BS, and yet look forward to tricking uninformed people as soon as their programs rank a few positions higher. Few univerisites and colleges have publicly attacked this nasty system so far. Institutions haven't banned them. >:(

Amsterdam Business School climbs 13 Spots in Financial Times European Business School Ranking

The Amsterdam Business School (ABS), is ranked 78 in the Financial Times European Business School Ranking. This is 13 places higher then in 2021. The ranking further highlights that our Executive MBA (EMBA) program is currently positioned at the 48th spot in Europe.

The siloification of university course material away from public HTTP servers into walled-garden Moodle instances is a great loss for the public.
