SO i know it's been a hot minute but guess what I avoided those in the prototype and then the team added them back in and then spent over a year trying to clean up the fucking mess of having done so!

God, I could do this if I wanted to be an actual monster and have 20 synchronous XHR requests. That's what I'm trying to AVOID though, and it feels like this has to be possible somehow.

I got roped into training people at work after the nth impromptu talk on why App Hungarian is Good Actually ™️ for getting around our codebase that extensively uses it. Something about being the only person who can reliably find the source of a bug in <10 minutes if it's in that layer.
@rey Thank you. I've done.. tons of training talks for work, and explainers, and other things, and they always seem to go incredibly well, which makes me want to try writing a talk for a conference, but I hardly think I have anything worth talking about that people would like, CHOOSE to see...
