Hey folks. I'm going to be extremely candid. I'm looking for a role and I need one extremely fast. I was trying to tease this news, but we're expecting twins. If you need any kind of iOS developer work, please please please consider me. #fedihired
@Mecid It‘s great indeed. What I really like is that it helps minimizing the need for onboarding slides, as you can only show the info at a later point, when the user actually needs it.
Mediums' current paywall reminds me of beer. It's even animated, so it looks like it's sparkling.
But maybe my head is just playing tricks on me because of the current temperatures. 😜

So that's still happening. Or is it only me? 😃

Just got a Magic Trackpad that I was looking forward to. Plugged it in and it feels extremely sluggish.

Hopefully newer generations will have upgraded internals.

I've implemented a Silent Push Notification for iOS that works fine on iPhone 13/14 Pro, however it's not delivered to the app when in background on iPhone XS/11 Pro. Once the app is opened, the app will receive the notification.

I know that this kind of notification has a lower prio, but it seems weird that it doesn't work at all.

Does someone have an idea why that that is?

The big mistake that the CEOs of both Reddit & Twitter have made is failing to realize that their sites are supported by lots of unpaid labor (creators, moderators, etc) and it’s not enough to focus on experience of users who’re mainly readers of these sites.

The 1-9-90 ratio is real.

Reddit’s users and moderators are revolting against its CEO

Reddit’s unpopular API changes, the shuttering of the Apollo app, and a disastrous AMA with CEO Steve Huffman has prompted a backlash as thousands of communities go dark in protest.

Apollo will close down on June 30th. Reddit’s recent decisions and actions have unfortunately made it impossible for Apollo to continue. Thank you so, so much for all the support over the years. ❤️ https://www.reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/144f6xm/apollo_will_close_down_on_june_30th_reddits/
