ok, here's a more period-correct setup, with the 800. Yeah, I know I should connect the Commodore 1702 monitor, but I didn't want to pull it out. AND, I was afraid the table would collapse! 😀​

When I see people with blown-out 8-bit computers, I immediately think of V-GER from "Star Trek: The Motion Picture": a logical automaton modified by a hyper-intelligent race, expanded until it becomes naively sentient and given power over energy itself to seek out its destiny.

At the end of the day, all it wants is the final sequence from its creator to ascend the planes of existence.

I hope you're carrying ascendance insurance on your house.
