@TonyStark@Okanogen@MisterMoo I really lay the blame on the far Left and some of the intellectuals who advocated the claim that there’s no difference between the political parties. For me it was the nonsensical ramblings of Noam Chomsky.
@tristansnell the New York case is massively important. But I would say SCOTUS dragging it out for months on end, is only going to remind people of the seriousness of the charges.
@TonyStark@Okanogen@MisterMoo the only message I was sending at that time was “I’m young and I don’t understand how politics works.” Hindsight is always 20/20.
@MisterMoo@TonyStark for those wanting to go third party because they’re upset at a policy disagreement. I have to live with the fact that I voted for Ralph Nader in 2000 and was indirectly responsible for Alito being placed on the court and the elevation of John Robert’s to CJ.
@JoshuaHolland or devils advocate here, they’re going to allow this to fester a few months before the election and it’s going to be a daily reminder of Trump’s behavior. Especially if he’s convicted in New York over the hush money.
@ralfmaximus@msbellows if Ford hadn’t pardoned Nixon it would have set a good precedent that no one is above the law. It might have had an impact upon future President’s who think otherwise.
