As usual the AP has gotten the title wrong. He didn’t mishandle documents, if you read the article while he was VP he had the right to take them to his home. That’s why Hur isn’t charging him and Hur makes it quite clear even if Biden wasn’t President he wouldn’t charge him anyway.

I don’t think Manchin is as much as a threat as the political press has made him out to be. Typically third party campaigns are popular on the Far Left and Far Right and I really don’t see any members of the Sunrise Movement rushing to support Manchin.
In the end I think Biden will win a second term with a pretty wide margin.
