Hey y'all, I'm starting training for a new job this coming Monday, but I'm not going to be getting paid before rent and bills all come due and I was hoping if anybody's got anything they're able to spare, they could send it my way.

I'm also going to need to come up with almost $100 to cover getting licensed for work and to pay for the uniform (robbery if you ask me) on top of everything else, and I'm starting to get a little worried about all this.

There's only one problem with a lot of individualist lenses on liberty and self-determination: it assumes all bodies and minds are equally capable of the same things. This is ableism.

What we need to do is realize that there is value in shared responsibility; that we must not only protect ourselves from external (material, social, and emotional) threats, but protect others from the threats we present to them, too.
