After listening to the latest @gruber Talk Show episode, I'm still confused on why everyone wants the iPad to become more and more like a Mac. With iPadOS 26 I feel like there's just two much overlap between these two devices it's actually crazy.
Yes, a lot of people already made the case that the iPad is overpowered in terms of specs, agreed. Still, it shouldn't be an almost-Mac. It feels confusing as a product because over the past few years we realized we don't really need tablets.
