I'm simplifying my social media accounts, and retiring this account.
I'm going to continue to post about my apps on my main account @voidstern
Fiery Feeds is officially a decade old today. The release of version 1.0 was on October 10, 2013. Feels kinda crazy to have worked on the same project for over a decade.
Fiery Feeds is a powerful and highly customizable feed reader and read-it-later client that syncs with most services. - Smart Views - Hot Links - Finds the most linked to websites in your articles Low and High Frequency - folders shows articles from feeds that only post rarely or particularly often…
@Tastenjunkie At the moment not officially, although it is planned for a future release.
Right now there’s only the somewhat complicated workaround of creating a saved search for each keyword, than change the number of articles to keep unread to 0, to mark all matching articles automatically as read.
(Alternatively something like the server side mute filters in Feedly or Inoreader might work, although I haven’t tested that myself.)
@Tastenjunkie No, not directly. You can long press the settings icon to get to a hidden settings list, and search for “Article List Paging Size”, increase this number to load more articles at once.
However, the app pre-calculates the layout for all loaded articles to make scrolling smoother, so loading too many articles at once on opening a list can cause some delays before the list is actually displayed.
A couple of bug fixes and a new per-feed option to hide the header image in 2.9.8
@vjgoh After which actions do you end up in this state, also is this the latest version?
Because I can't reproduce the two refresh buttons, but I did find (and fixed) a bug that prevented the websites from loading at all.
