I am a visual artist, software developer and most of all a tinkerer.
Just days before the fire I had it display video. I planned to film it later, but there was no “later”. Now all I have left is this “flipdot display for ants”. #flipdotflut 2/2
One of the many projects lost in the fire at @pixelbar was our flip dot display which was lovingly restored with a new controller that would let us send content to it in #pixelflut style. 1/2
I’m not a narcissist, but… I did print this
#IMadeAThing, and the thing is alive!
The "trekstaart" controller has a pullrope that affects the pace and style of the #projectionmapping.
The controller is self-contained, weather-proof and communicates wirelessly with a mediaserver for at least 30 hours on the embedded battery pack.
#IMadeAThing What is it? Obviously it is a custom controller for a #projectionmapping installation. I call it "project trekstaart"
