There's something weird about the us government warning against violence against LGBTQ people from international terrorists, while not caring about the state sponsored terrorism happening to citizens in it's own borders.

Nope and I was wrong too. It still can't verify the update. What is someone supposed to do with this!?! Did the verification fail and I need to redownload. Is there some server involved in the checksum? Is this thing just too old?
And then when you do set it up your given this option? Is "Just don't load stuff" not even an option anymore?
Do people know that apple literally just won't let you reset your password without an iphone?
If you click past this you will have an auth code sent to your phone, after which you'll have an auth code sent to your email, after which you'll have to verify your credit card number. After which you can wait a few weeks for a person to manually do... something. All because they're bitter you didn't pay for one of their devices, or just literally can't imagine a world where someone isn't using them.
