Ever bought this before? Most pet owners in America have at some point

What's the secret? Enzymes. And water. And then they sell this shit for a LOT of money. ($25/gallon regular, $40/gallon extra strength!!!!!!)

So I was talking to @SlicerDicer about it on the phone a few years ago because I was determined to figure out how to make my own Nature's Miracle... if I could only find my own source of high quality enzymes that are very effective at breaking down organic materials.

And then Power Soak sprung to @SlicerDicer's mind because he's spent a lot of time optimizing pool and hot tub cleaning.

It works so well, too.

But that's kinda the story of American products. Lots of products could be replaced with your own concoctions if you only had a way to source the ingredients, and they keep their mouths shut about what the ingredients are. Find that answer and you can start your own competing business.

If I could find someone who knows how to spin up a business making this stuff I'd be all-in. Sell it at half the price that Nature's Miracle is being sold for and you'll be a millionaire in no time.

Anyone out there have leads? Bueller?
I was resigned to spending an evening picking it clean with a tweezers when I had a 💡

ENZYMES

I love enzymes, they're my favorite cleaning trick. And I happen to keep some very special cleaning enzymes on hand (safe for all fabrics, will clean out any organic materials -- shit, blood, barf, etc)

POWER SOAK!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never owned a pool before in my life. But I keep stocked up with Power Soak!

It totally worked. Completely ate away all the dog fur and gunk. There was nothing left on the glove after letting it sit in a bucket for a few hours.

And weirdly enough it broke it down so effectively the water was still pretty damn clear... 🤢

how???
haha holy shit I love science

I have this dog grooming glove, great for scrubbing the dog in the shower and the other side is that one-way brush that can pick up hair etc off of things

Well, all those little nubs and crevices? Was full of dog hair. But not just dog hair. My dog eats raw chicken so her beard gets full of it and needs to be washed. So really it was embedded with short dog hair and chicken fat that you couldn't wash out.

- ran it through the laundry multiple times, dog fur still there. laundry sanitizer didn't help the smell much.
- tried soaking in lysol, didn't help.
- tried various other things, didn't work.
