P. S. I learned that this one outlet was on an unexpected circuit, the load off a GFCI outlet in the kitchen, which itself was on the subpanel with 2 other outlets on their own breaker. Weird mystery solved.

Why do small projects like replacing an old, crumbling, outside receptacle with a new weather resistant GFCI one, with an added weatherproof box around it, caulked like a pro and looking fantastic, give me that endorphin rush i didn't know i needed?
