Fantastic Other Team Application

Welcome! The Fantastic Other is currently seeking team members! We are looking for an additional editor and submission reader. We are a very otherly-oriented magazine, and do accept work within a relatively large range. While we do keep our submissions open year-round, we are on a two issue per-year release cycle, and our busiest times are in late winter and early summer.

Google Docs

Though we are temporarily closed for general submissions, we are excited to announce that we are open for a special flash fiction contest.

The theme: hope.

Hope is not the absence of darkness but the defiance of it.

As usual, we do not charge for submissions. Prizes will given to first, second, and third place. For more information, see our submissions page.
