@evacide why not? the "robots" are not making the decisions, they are just remotes for the cop making the decision. They are likely to be less "violent" than a human holding the gun, because it removes "I was afraid for my life" fear based decisions, and it will be much more recorded and audited.
Has anyone taken the @signalapp client and server code and built a federating implementation? Or is that just @matrix ?
@malwaretech Yeah, thats not going to scale. It's going to have to come out.
Tracphone is incompetent to the point of illegality about portout. I'm sure their business decision is to mess it up so many times that people just decide to stay with them. In related news, my mother will be getting a new phone#. #tw
@mcdanlj this sounds like a problem with the delivery partner. sigh. leave delivery feedback
Twitter feature I want: I never want to see a reply written by someone with fewer than 5% of the followers of the person they were replying to, unless I'm actually following them.
I don't want "VR" or even "AR". I want a pair of glasses that weigh less than 1oz that give me the experience of 4k 60in monitor 30in away.
“Open source is about making your problem upstream’s problem. If you do not support said upstream, it will quickly become your problem again. Invest on your own future. Reduce your long term costs. Support your upstream.”//@matrixdotorg

This is probably worth repeating regularly: open source is about making your problem upstream's problem.

If you do not support said upstream, it will quickly become your problem again.

Invest on your own future. Reduce your long term costs. Support your upstream.

It used to be that English profs would reject your paper for plagiarizing. Now they require it to pass.
